What we collect and how to delete it

What we collect
When you register for a moJAM event we ask for your name, email, city, and a self-rating (1–5) for storyboard, design, animation, and sound. If you’re a Team Lead, we also collect a short bio and a photo. If you submit a team video, we store the video file.
Why we collect it
- Name + email:registration confirmation, the team reveal, and event reminders. We don’t use your email for anything else.
- City: normalized to a metro area and used so the matcher can group teammates by geography.
- Self-ratings:the matcher balances skill totals across teams. They’re never displayed publicly.
- Team Lead bio + photo: displayed on the event page after the reveal so your team knows who you are.
- Team video: displayed on the public showcase after submissions close.
Who can see it
Only Manny and Eric (the moJAM organizers) can see the admin dashboard. We don’t sell, share, or use your data for advertising. Team rosters become visible to fellow participants after the team reveal. Videos on the showcase page are public.
How long we keep it
Registration data is kept indefinitely so we can archive past events. Team videos remain on the showcase unless you ask us to remove them. You can request deletion at any time — see below.
How to delete your data
Email manny.alboroto@gmail.com with the email address you registered with. We’ll remove your registration record (and any team membership it’s linked to) within 30 days, and reply to confirm. If you also want a team video taken down, mention which event and team in the message.
